The High Hand of Mamba Shampti the Voodoo Witch of Haiti

The Story -
In the year 1804 Mamba Shampti began her reign as voodoo queen over the village of Verrettes where she lived. Mamba Shampti was well known for her voodoo powers long before the time she arrived in Haiti. She became the person that the Haitian villagers would seek out for her remarkable healing abilities and good strong juju. Mamba Shampti served as the revered healer of the village for many years and was credited with being able to grant anyone‘s deepest desires. Mamba Shampti could make whoever she wanted to into a King. This was proven many times throughout history. Mamba Shampti would perform her voodoo ritual at the cost of one dollar, then wave her “High Hand of Voodoo” over a person and soon he would find himself a wealthy man. Carlo Gens found out firsthand when he met Mamba Shampti in 1816 and received her blessing. Before meeting Mamba Shampti, Carlo was a simple farmer. Within one year after Mamba Shampti’s blessing, Carlo was a millionaire several times over making his fortune in the sugar markets. When Mamba Shampti died in 1818 her “High Hand of Voodoo Power” was taken and preserved as a charm of prosperity for the village. Mamba Shampti’s hand of high voodoo power remained in Haiti until the year 1810 when an adventurer named Prof. Daniel White came upon it in his travels. Paying the mayor of Verrettes a princely sum for it, the adventurer took the hand back home as his new trophy & souvenir. It remained the property of Prof. White until 1826 when he died a happy and very wealthy man. It was reported that his last words were “Bless you Mamba Shampti for the fortune and happiness you bestowed upon me“. Prof. White died with over four million dollars in the bank. His fortune was made in importing exotic textiles and dyes from far off lands. Prof. White always claimed that his success was due entirely to Mamba Shampti. It is unknown how many other owners the High Hand of Mamba Shampti has had until being discovered and purchased by it’s ultimate owner, Robert L. Ripley in 1937. The High Hand of Mamba Shampti is believed to contain all the concentrated powers of good juju fortune of Mamba Shampti and that those who make an offering of one dollar to Mamba Shampti‘s High Hand of Power and utters the words “Mamba Shampti, please convey your benevolent blessings upon me“ will be blessed with riches and power. However, this is said to only work for those who make the offering with a pure heart and a unselfish mind.

Paranormal Museum To Sell Rare Artifacts To Raise Needed Funds

New York

The New York Paranormal Institute and Museum announced today that it would be selling off a few of its rarest and most valuable exhibits and artifacts in a desperate attempt to raise capital for the repair of a badly damaged foundation that threatens to collapse the building. Among the items to be sold are several authentic voodoo and paranormal artifacts. Perhaps the most valuable and oddest is the mummified hand of Mamba Shampti - the famous voodoo witch of Haiti. Professor DS Goodman, curator of the museum had this to say regarding the upcoming sale. “The mummified voodoo hand has been one of our most popular exhibits here at the museum. Quite frankly I’ll hate to see it go. This hand is genuinely the most haunted and powerful paranormal object I have ever come across in my 17 years as a curator and collector. When we first acquired the hand, a number of strange occurrences began to immediately transpire. We tested the hand and have fully documented the extreme hyper paranormal activity of the hand.” Goodman said he hopes the artifacts will end up in qualified hands. Museums, collectors and the public at large will be able to bid on the artifacts for the next five days. At that time the high bidders will be awarded the artifacts. All items available for sale can be previewed at the museum weekdays 10AM - 7PM with sealed bidding ending on Friday.
